We are passionate about empowering people and the community
Our extensive training means Ascend is able to give health professionals a high level of autonomy, trusting them to decide how best to care for our members. With the assistance of our custom built cloud technology, we've eliminated many of the manual administrative tasks that prevent information flowing between your support workers and your therapist.

Our mentors coordinate a team of local support workers to ensure we deliver high-quality support to our mentors. Their role includes training new support workers, communicating with the members in their areas, providing weekly training, and sharing information with out therapists.
Core to Ascend’s unparalleled standards of service is a commitment to employ only university students dedicated to studying health therapies as disability support workers/carers. Our experienced mentors support these dedicated young students to bring a higher standard of care for people with disabilities.
My name is Matthew Harrup and I am currently in my 3rd year of Physiotherapy at Curtin University as well as being enrolled in a Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) through the Australian Medical Association. Our team of support workers look for ways to help our members become more active in their community and to build their social networks.
